The DIME Partnership Coordinator is a self-motivated, relationship-oriented leader who is passionate about helping minority students obtain the knowledge and resources necessary to build long-term wealth.  The ideal candidate will have business development experience within the investment management industry or prior experience interfacing with C-suite executives across the corporate landscape. The preferred candidate will also exhibit strong communication skills and grant writing experience.


Under the leadership of DIME’s executive team, the candidate will serve as the organization’s primary point of contact related to fundraising and financial partnerships.  



  • Identifies, cultivates, and solicits, gift donors and prospects including individuals, corporations, and/or foundations, through visits and other forms of direct personal contact.

  • Establishes and maintains collaborative working relationship with DIME executive leadership board to plan solicitation strategies, and communicate solicitation efforts.

  • Assists and/or leads in short- and long-range strategic planning activities to create and implement fund-raising goals and objectives.

  • Makes effective use of the DIME's management database and curriculum portals to ensure appropriate management of donors, prospects, alumni, and volunteers outreach.

  • Conducts research to identify prospects, with an emphasis on major gifts exceeding $10,000, and creates strategies to match prospects' interests to the priorities of the DIME program.

  • Researches, writes, edits, and/or oversees the preparation of persuasive solicitations and grants.

  • Works closely with DIME program and collaboration coordinators to ensure alignment with the foundation's strategic goals and objectives.
